Hi, I’m Dr. Sandra Zuazo
It’s a pleasure to meet you. I’m a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY34934) in the state of California. I received my bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2022, I graduated with a doctorate degree from Alliant International University, Los Angeles (formerly known as CSPP). With approximately seven years of experience in therapy, I have developed a versatile approach to treatment.
What sets me apart is the relational nature of my work. Our sessions will be a collaborative journey, where I attune to your needs and empower you to make decisions that resonate with your core values. You are the expert of your life, and my role is to support and challenge you in a way that feels both safe and empowering. I often use humor, insightful questions, and check-ins to ensure that we are aligned in your healing journey.
Within the therapeutic space, my approach is fluid and eclectic. I often draw from psychodynamic principles but also integrate cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) as needed. My overall approach is person-centered and relational-based. I firmly believe that real change can happen through a safe and collaborative space.
